Nicola Holman 

Hello, I’m Nicola, the Owner and Manager of Buttercups Nursery School.

I have dedicated over 20 years to working in Early Years education, and throughout that time my ambition was always to create a nursery that truly felt like a home from home. In 2014, that dream became a reality when I opened Buttercups Nursery School.

As a mother of five grown-up children and a proud grandmother to two wonderful grandsons, I understand firsthand how important it is for families to find a nurturing, safe, and caring environment where their children can flourish. My personal and professional experiences have shaped my belief that every child deserves the very best start in life.

Throughout my journey, I have been incredibly fortunate to have the unwavering support of my husband, Jon. His encouragement, belief, and commitment have played a significant role in helping me achieve my dream of creating a nursery that sits at the heart of its community.

During my career, I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of children and their families. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and celebrate children’s achievements. Working within our local community has given me a deep understanding of the diverse needs of families and strengthened my commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality early education and care.
